Police Superintendent of Jabalpur Coordinates Security Measures for Ayodhya Pilgrims Traveling by Rail and Road

Jabalpur/Mp In a strategic coordination meeting held today, Jabalpur Police Superintendent, Shri Aditya Pratap Singh, collaborated with R.P.F. and G.R.P. officials to ensure the safety of pilgrims heading to Ayodhya by rail and road. Emphasizing the importance of a hassle-free journey, he stated that pilgrims traveling to Ayodhya for the Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Samaroh on January 22 should face no inconvenience.
With lakhs of devotees from across the country expected to participate in the event in Ayodhya, more than 100 trains from Jabalpur Railway Division and a substantial number of pilgrims using roadways are anticipated. Addressing this, Police Superintendent Shri Aditya Pratap Singh conducted a coordination meeting on January 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Jabalpur Police Control Room. The meeting included the presence of several high-ranking police officials, such as Additional Police Superintendent (City) Shrimati Priyanka Shukla, Additional Police Superintendent (Crime) Shri Samar Varma, Additional Police Superintendent (City South) Shri Kamal Maurya, Additional Police Superintendent (City North/Traffic) Shri Pradeep Kumar Shende, Additional Police Superintendent (Rural) Shri Suryakant Sharma, Additional Police Superintendent (Rural) Shrimati Sonali Dubey, and Additional Police Superintendent (Rail Jabalpur) Shri Israr Mansoori.
The meeting focused on a detailed discussion regarding the security of pilgrims during train journeys and monitoring antisocial elements. Shri Aditya Pratap Singh instructed all present to prioritize the safety of pilgrims and ensure that no devotee faces any trouble. Immediate assistance was emphasized for any pilgrim in need.
Moreover, the officials were directed to share information about trains passing through Jabalpur to Ayodhya, both by rail and road. This sharing of information aims to deploy local forces, besides G.R.P./R.P.F., at smaller stations. National Highway station in-charges were also instructed to patrol continuously in their respective areas, ensuring the safe passage of pilgrims heading to Ayodhya. The directive emphasized avoiding any lapses in security measures.
